In its continuous effort to promote safety and preparedness, Ada Rural Bank has equipped its management and staff with essential knowledge and practical skills in fire prevention and firefighting. The training, held as part of the bank’s workplace safety initiative, emphasized the importance of vigilance, quick response and the right use of fire equipment to safeguard both lives and property.

Facilitated by certified fire safety officers, the session covered key areas such as identifying fire hazards, using different types of fire extinguishers, executing safe evacuation procedures and developing a fire emergency plan. Participants were also taken through live demonstrations, allowing them to experience firsthand how to control small fires before they escalate.

According to the management of the Bank, the exercise forms part of the bank’s broader commitment to ensuring a safe working environment for its staff and customers. Management noted that safety practices should not only be limited to the workplace but extended to homes and communities as well.
